Lifesaver Technology Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides automation solutions, AI integrations, workflow optimization, software development, and technology consulting services to clients in British Columbia and across Canada.
By accessing our website (lifesavertech.ca) or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Scope of Services

We offer professional technology and consulting services, including but not limited to:
    •    AI consulting, automation, and workflow optimization
    •    Custom software development (web apps, mobile apps, internal tools, dashboards, client portals)
    •    Technical systems design and architecture planning
    •    Cloud setup, secure onboarding, and digital infrastructure configuration
    •    Business process improvement and operational consulting
    •    Cybersecurity guidance and general best practices

Services may be delivered remotely or, when required, in person using secure access tools.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue services at any time.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:
    •    Maintain current and complete data backups before and after any service.
    •    Safeguard passwords, access credentials, and authentication information.
    •    Provide accurate information and safe access to systems as required for service.
    •    Review all completed work, automation behaviour, software outputs, and AI-generated results.
    •    Use all tools, systems, and software in a lawful and responsible manner.

We may refuse or suspend service if unsafe, unethical, or illegal conditions exist.

3. Privacy, Security & Confidentiality

We treat client information as confidential and access systems only with explicit permission.

While we follow industry-recognized data-security practices, no digital system can be guaranteed fully secure. We cannot be held responsible for cybersecurity incidents, breaches, or vulnerabilities on client systems or third-party platforms.

We comply with applicable Canadian privacy laws including PIPA (BC) and PIPEDA (Canada).
Any information collected is used only to deliver services, communicate with clients, and maintain secure records.

4. Data Access & Credential Use

Some services may require temporary access to your accounts, tools, infrastructure, or cloud systems.

You authorize us to use this access solely to complete agreed-upon work.

We will:
    •    Treat all credentials as confidential
    •    Use secure, encrypted storage and transmission methods
    •    Never share client information with unauthorized parties

Clients are responsible for revoking or updating system access after project completion.

5. Data Backup & Risk Disclaimer

Clients are fully responsible for maintaining backups of all files, databases, and systems.

Lifesaver Technology Services is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or hardware failure that occurs during or after service — including issues caused by:
    •    Pre-existing system vulnerabilities
    •    Malware, hacking, ransomware, or unauthorized third-party access
    •    Client negligence or misuse
    •    Failure to maintain backups or security updates

6. AI, Automation & Software Development Disclaimer

When we build or configure automation systems, AI-powered tools, or custom software:
    •    Clients must review and validate outputs, predictions, and automations.
    •    We are not responsible for financial loss, errors, or business outcomes resulting from automated or AI-generated decisions.
    •    All products are delivered as-is, with reasonable efforts made to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    •    Third-party APIs, hosting services, and integrations operate under their own terms and availability, which we do not control.
    •    Software may require updates, maintenance, or adjustments over time, which are not included unless specified in writing.

7. Payments, Deposits & Refunds
    •    All work is billed by project, hourly rate, or subscription.
    •    Estimates are based on the defined scope and may change if requirements change.
    •    Payment is due upon invoice unless otherwise specified.
    •    Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
    •    Unpaid invoices may result in service suspension and collection measures.
    •    Refunds or rework are provided only at our discretion.

All fees are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.

8. Intellectual Property & Ownership
    •    All code, designs, documentation, and materials created by Lifesaver Technology Services remain our property until full payment is received.
    •    Upon full payment, ownership or license rights transfer as outlined in your contract or invoice.
    •    Custom software may include open-source components governed by their respective licenses.
    •    We retain the right to reuse non-proprietary components, templates, workflows, or general knowledge.

9. Third-Party Services & Integrations

We regularly integrate third-party systems (e.g., OpenAI, Google, APIs, hosting providers, automation tools).

We are not responsible for:
    •    Outages, limitations, or failures of third-party systems
    •    Service changes or pricing updates made by those providers
    •    Data handled, stored, or processed by those providers

We always select reputable services but cannot guarantee their performance.

10. On-Site Environment Safety (If Applicable)

Clients must provide a safe, accessible workspace for any on-site service.

We are not responsible for:
    •    Pre-existing electrical issues
    •    Damaged hardware
    •    Unsafe environments

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue on-site work if conditions are unsafe.

11. NDAs & Confidential Projects

We sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) upon request.
Any proprietary information shared with us remains confidential and will not be reused or disclosed without written consent.

12. Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Lifesaver Technology Services is not liable for:
    •    Financial loss, revenue loss, or business interruption
    •    Data loss or corruption
    •    Cybersecurity incidents, malware, or hacking
    •    Inaccurate AI output or automation behaviour
    •    Third-party service failures
    •    Client misuse, errors, or negligence

Our total liability will never exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

13. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our control, including outages, illness, natural disasters, system failures, or third-party interruptions.

14. Cancellations & Termination

Either party may cancel service with written notice.

Clients remain responsible for payment for all completed work up to the termination date.
Deposits are non-refundable unless specifically agreed otherwise.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
Any disputes will be handled within BC jurisdiction.

16. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, technology, or legal requirements. The newest version will always be available at:
